Is It Western?: Desert Relations: Still Life Photographs by Wayne Norton

December 19, 2015 – February 28, 2016

Roaming the deserts of the American Southwest for the last 30 years, Norton has come into contact with an abundance of discarded man-made items and natural relics. He uses these objects, many of which are on display, to invent new stories that express his views regarding the ethical and environmental matters facing the desert. The exhibition is partially funded by the Schweitzer Family Foundation.
